Over thousands of years, gigantic glaciers and coursing streams have carved this landscape. This 1.5 mile long trail is located just west of Pony Pasture and follows the river from Rattlesnake Creek to the Huguenot Flatwater parking lot.

Hawks like it though, and a hawk count is kept from August-November, more info here. NOTE: The Lake Treman Trail is CLOSED at the dam, making a loop impossible (November 2010). The lower park has a campground, natural pool and playing fields, beyond which is Larch Meadows. Please use common sense and courtesy towards all other trail users. Pets are to be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length.

Turn LEFT to now follow YELLOW Perimeter (YELLOW SQUARE) over the bridge. You can also enter from the park’s parking lot at New Kent and 42nd St. For a longer ride, some people combine them with Buttermilk, North Bank, and Belle Isle trails.
