For me, I do most of my flying in the southwest so there isn't much issue. If Forkboy put say 20k trees in that small area, there would be a big FPS hit to draw all of those regardless of how simple they look visually.

I have the forkboy ortho down the entire west coast as well as ID/NM/NV/UT/AZ/CO. But I've certainly noticed it, and glad to have it confirmed. But wouldn't the solution be to replace the terrain / nav data files?
