This is just a crazy film and turns the DC animated universe on its head. | Rating: 4/5 This movie is filled to the brink with wannabe witty cringeworthy dialogue that will only hit with young teenagers. Apokolips War is the sequel to Justice League Dark (2017) involving Jack Kirby's New Gods.
It overdoes the gore to an extent that in the end it just becomes surprisingly boring. Like nothing from the previous movies matches this. But if you do enjoy that, my latest killing spree has been added to Twitch. Another highlight in the film is its R rating. Director. I've waited months to see this film. A bloody, R-Rated romp, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War serves as a fittingly epic finale to this era of stories, and boasts a downright unmissable … and to receive email from Rotten Tomatoes and Fandango. This is somewhat of a new take, and it’s well warranted during a multi-planetary war of death and destruction. This film is directed by Matt Peters and Christina Sotta, written by Ernie Altbacker and Sotta. So does. The ending was a little expected but who honestly cares when the film is this unpredictable. Being a fan of all fifteen DC Universe Animated Original Movies, this has to be my favorite.

For the Flash to magically fix everything by running through time to the "Flashpoint" (again). I wanted to talk about more things, but this film is such a carbon copy of so many other horror films, that it leaves your mind moments after you watch it. It was equally part funny and action-packed. animation, The film’s storytelling is disappointing to fans of the franchise, and with how dependent half the story is on knowing events of previous films, (Lex Luthor joining the Justice League, who Trigon is, ninety percent of character development) it is virtually impossible for newcomers to understand. |, Why couldn't DC create such a ground-breaking film like this for all the animated films? The big moments work, but too many details are lost in the relatively short runtime. If you are a fan of the comic books you will probably be annoyed by the changes in characters and lore. Due to this, I find the DC Animated Universe very interesting, as they can tell the stories that I loved to read years ago like Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay and give the story it’s due, while the DCEU films about those same stories like Suicide Squad fall flat on its face, onto a set of stairs, tumbling down them and breaking every single bone.
