Update: Most settings are now moved to the new teams portal but I can't find any related to guest and chatt!

11-20-2018 Don’t worry, with Anonymous Join, you can schedule a Teams meeting with anyone with a valid email address even if they are not in your organization. To join a meeting as a guest, the invitee can simply open the email or the calendar item and click on Join Microsoft Teams Meeting. I started a meeting in Teams, shared the invite link and had someone join as a guest user, and they were unable to see the chat bubble. i have tested invite link in chrome, edge, explorer and firefox.

I'm kinda out of ideas what i need to enable either on server level, or channel/team level, for guests to be able to chat in meeting.
when i do same with SfB, it works without issues.
