The Commando was produced by the Norton Motorcycle company from 1967 until 1977 and won several awards, including Motor Cycle News "Machine of the Year" award for five successive years from 1968-1972. It made a mark for itself early on with success in both the racing and streetbike/commuter sectors, and it continues to do so to this day. Norton, an iconic motorcycle brand from Great Britain, is now in Indian hands.
Serial number suggests it's a combat but po replaced combat head with a 1970 head. Totally Rebuilt Engine, Bottom to Top.
