For the first time ever, Trail Life USA families gather in one location for a week of boy-focused adventure, family activities, national speakers, training and family-issue workshops … all in the Christ-centered spirit of Trail Life USA!
Navigator and Adventurer boys and male adult Troop leaders will camp separate and have the outdoor adventurer activities and fun you expect from Trail Life. Parents and families will enjoy the comfortable hotel accommodations and daily workshops, afternoon activities, and evening speakers.

Summer Adventure
*For Navigators, Adventurers, and Adult Male Registered Leaders.Our stellar team of Summer Adventure volunteers have done it again. They’ve arranged an activity schedule designed to Rise Up! and challenge the warrior in your son!
A short hike from the Convention hotel area where the Convention meets, they camp and enjoy activities at Camp Tugalo. This camp area is restricted to Trailmen only and is on the shore of the same beautiful lake the Convention enjoys.
Some evenings they will join their families at the Convention to hear great speakers and, at least one day, families will join them at Camp Tugalo for Family Field Day!

Family Convention
While the Navigators and Adventurers are enjoying camping and boy-focused warrior adventure at the nearby Camp Tugalo site, families and younger Trailmen stay in the comfortable hotel accommodations.
Mornings begin with inspirational general sessions with music and speakers, then on to workshops on TLUSA leadership and family-interest topics. Woodlands Trail Trailmen enjoy activities geared to them closeby, maybe punctuated with a trip to visit “the big guys” at Camp Tugalo!
After lunch on-site in the Dining Hall, afternoons offer free time for families to:
- Relax in God’s creation
- Cool off in waterfront activities
- Participate in family games and hiking
- Choose from many exciting things to do in the northeast Georgia area, like a day trip to Tallulah Falls or the unique City of Helen, GA.
